Ireland’s Expert Witness Conference
The countdown is on for Ireland’s Expert Witness Conference, taking place on 20th May!
This year’s conference event, hosted by La Touche, brings together leading voices from the legal and healthcare sectors to discuss the evolving role of expert evidence in Irish litigation. The programme includes a keynote address from The Honourable Mr. Justice David Barniville, President of the High Court, alongside contributions from High Court judges, barristers, and legal professionals with extensive experience in expert witness work.
Topics will range from recent case law and expert instructions to cross-examination techniques and lessons from high-profile cases.
MCS Case Management are particularly proud to be part of the event. Siobhan will be contributing as part of a Panel Discussion on the role of Expert Meetings, and Liz will be participating in the live role play session focused on cross-examination.
We know that opportunities like this are an important way to strengthen collaboration between healthcare and legal professionals while continuing to support high standards in medico-legal practice.
At MCS Case Management, we recognise the vital role that experienced case managers and healthcare professionals play when acting as expert witnesses in complex and catastrophic injury matters. High-quality expert evidence can help ensure that individuals and families are fully understood, with recommendations grounded in real-world clinical experience, coordinated care planning, and meaningful long-term support needs.
We believe that maintaining the highest standards of professional practice requires independence, objectivity, and evidence-based opinion. That is why MCS works across both plaintiff and defence instructions, ensuring our assessments and recommendations remain balanced, impartial, and focused on achieving fair and informed outcomes for all parties involved.
We look forward to a valuable day of learning, discussion, and shared expertise. Can’t wait to catch up with familiar faces and to make new connections.
