MCS Case Management is delighted to be sponsoring this year’s Timoleague Festival, supporting a weekend of community, creativity, fun and inclusion for families and individuals across the local area.
As a case management organisation supporting children and adults with complex needs, we understand how important it is that everyone has opportunities to participate, connect and enjoy community life in ways that work for them. That is why we are particularly excited to see two sensory afternoons at the Merries for this years festival!
Making Timoleague Festival Fun More Inclusive
Festivals are a wonderful opportunity to bring people together. They create space for families to enjoy entertainment, meet friends and neighbours, and make memories within their local community.
However, busy events can sometimes feel overwhelming for people who experience sensory differences. Crowds, loud music, bright lights and unfamiliar environments can all present challenges for some children and adults.
The sensory afternoons are an opportunity to create a more accessible and welcoming festival experience. By providing a calmer environment with sensory considerations in mind, we hope more people can take part and enjoy the atmosphere in a way that feels comfortable for them and their families.
For MCS, this reflects something we see every day through our work in catastrophic injury case management: inclusion is not simply about being present. It is about having meaningful opportunities to participate.
Celebrating Every Kind of Creativity
We are also delighted to be supporting the Festival in sponsoring the Adult fancy dress prize for the Timoleague Festival.
Fancy dress is one of those wonderfully simple ways that we can all exercise our creativity. From superheroes and storybook characters to wonderfully imaginative creations, it allows children and families to express themselves and join in the celebrations.
